TOP SPEAKER LINE-UP ANNOUNCED AS TICKETS LAUNCH FOR 2025 WOMEN IN DAIRY CONFERENCE
A top line-up of inspirational speakers has been confirmed for the flagship annual Women in Dairy Conference, taking place in Warwickshire on Wednesday, 17th September 2025, with tickets for the one-day event now available.
Now in its 11th year, the conference – organised by the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers (RABDF) – has become a must-attend event for women across the dairy supply chain, from farmers and researchers to vets, advisers, and those working in trade and technical roles.
This year’s theme, ‘Voices, Views & Virtual Tools’, will explore how communication, collaboration and technology are shaping the future of dairy.
Four inspirational women have been confirmed as keynote speakers. They include:
- Alice Plunkett – Renowned broadcaster, journalist and former international event rider. Alice brings a unique perspective and infectious energy as she shares lessons from her varied career – and reflects on the power of visibility and voice in traditionally male-dominated sectors.
- Rebecca Wilson – Dynamic young farmer and digital content creator. Through YouTube and her newly launched podcast with fellow influencer and dairy farmer Charlotte Ashley, Rebecca champions progressive farming and rural life, and will discuss how digital platforms are empowering the next generation to share their stories and shape the future of farming.
- Liz Haines – Dairy farmer, communicator and Nuffield Scholar. Liz is a respected voice in UK dairy. She’ll share her personal journey and explore how the language we use in farming influences public trust and consumer engagement.
- Loretta Holder – Customer Success Team Lead at smaXtec. Loretta will offer insights into the latest developments in dairy technology, herd health monitoring, and the role of virtual tools in building more efficient, proactive and sustainable dairy systems.
The programme also includes a lively panel discussion, hosted in partnership with national Women in Dairy sponsor Boehringer Ingelheim, and chaired by dairy farmer and former Dairy Industry Woman of the Year, Karen Halton. The session will feature a range of speakers from across the sector and explore how collaboration and confidence are helping women tackle challenges and embrace new opportunities in dairy.
The one-day event, held at Chesford Grange Hotel in Kenilworth, reflects a shared commitment to investing in people, innovation, and the long-term sustainability of the dairy sector. It is proudly supported by principal sponsors HSBC UK and smaXtec.
Commenting on this year’s event, Laura Barber, RABDF Events and Membership Lead, said: “The Women in Dairy Conference is all about creating a space where women feel empowered, connected and inspired.
“We’re proud to be showcasing such a strong line-up of speakers and grateful to our sponsors for helping us bring this community together to support and celebrate the role of women in dairy.”
